MEET YOUR FAMILY WORKERS
Claire Kirton, Becki Mason & Chelsea Powlson
Most of you will have met our Family Workers at one time or another, either at school events or on a one to one basis. We are here to offer support and assistance to our families at Whitefield.
Should you have anything you would like to discuss, whether it be starting school, toilet training, housing problems, benefits or if you need help completing forms, then please come and see us.
Our office is located within the main school building. If you would like to speak with one of us, either contact the main school office by phone 596108 or in person. Alternatively you can contact us direct on 599314.
Our door is always open and you are welcome any time!
Weekly sessions in The Family Room include: Tuesday - 2pm - 3.15pm Everyday English, Wednesday - 2pm - 3.15pm Stay & Play 0-5yrs & Toy Library, Friday - Parent & Toddler Spring Craft 0-5yrs - 2pm - 3.15pm.
Tuesday and Friday sessions will change 1/2 termly to provide varied activities for our families and local community.
** NOTICE **
Winter is upon us and the weather has been very changeable recently.
Please ensure your children have a warm coat and sensible shoes, appropriate to the weather conditions.
Should you not be in a position to purchase these items when needed, please come and see your Family Workers who may be able to assist you. As a school we are very lucky to work closely with 'Level Trust' a local charity who provide us with resources to assist families with the purchase of shoes, coats and uniform for school age children.
