SEN Teaching Assistant L2

We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our very effective Learning Support Team.  The role involves supporting a pupil with additional needs individually and in small groups, whilst working under the full direction of the class teacher.  You will support the class teacher in all aspects of classroom organisation, preparing learning resources to support the curriculum and helping to ensure that every child has access to learning opportunities that allow them to develop into independent, active learners. Some experience of working with children with ASD would be an advantage.

Monday - Thursday 8.45am - 3.30pm, 1 hour for lunch, Friday 8:45am – 12:30pm, - 26.75 hours per week -  Term time only

We need a special person to join our team working at the Lantern Behaviour Provision in our school.

Experience of working in a school environment is desirable, along with an NVQ 3 Teaching Assistant qualification. School visits are essential and welcomed prior to application. Start date as soon as possible. This role is for 30 hours per week, 8:45am - 3:15pm. Closing date 26/04/19, 12pm.
