Hello and welcome to our 'School Council' page.
The School Council is made up of one representative from each of our Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 classes. Elections are held once a year to appoint a class representative. Every child is given the opportunity to apply for the position by completing an application form at home. The returned applications are then read out by the Class Teacher, without mentioning the candidates name. The children are invited to vote for their chosen candidate and the application with the most votes is elected as Class Representative.
The School Council leaves no stone unturned to ensure that our voices get heard. Every effort is made by the class representatives to put their point across to the Senior Leadership Team. Regular sessions are held within the classes throughout the school and concerns raised at council meetings with Mrs Pardon and Mrs Christie in a diplomatic way.

We are looking forward to another great year of making positive changes to our school.
Don't forget to come back and see what we've been up to!
The School Council have been really busy this year! Here are some of the projects and activities we have planned and carried out so far this year:
- Key Stage 2 painted some amazing poppy tiles for a display to commemorate Remembrance Day.
- We voted on rewards for collecting our values tokens and had a creativity day in the Autumn term and a movie afternoon in the Spring term.
- The children discussed how we could change and improve our Good to be Green parties - look out for our summer outdoor treasure hunt next term!
- We have discussed different ways we can raise funds for the school and had some great ideas for our Winter Wonderland and Summer Fayre.
We are looking forward to a busy summer term with lots of learning and lots of fun activities for us all to enjoy!
