Year 1 - Potter

Welcome to Potter Class
with Miss McKenzie, Mrs Dabb & Ms Gamble

English & Phonics - We will have daily Read Write Inc sessions to practice our phonics and reading words.

In English lessons we will be retelling some Traditional Tales and writing our own.

Art - We are learning about Van Gogh and creating our own sunflower pictures.

Computing - We'll explore the basics of programming.

PE - We will be working our basic movements skills; jumping, running, throwing and catching as well as developing balance, agility and co-ordination. Our PE Days are Monday & Wednesday. However, these days may change at any time so please have your PE kit in school every day.
