In summer 1 year 6 will continue to develop their writing skills through various genres through the primary writing project.The aim of the Primary Writing Project is to motivate children and teachers as readers and writers, deepening understanding and refining skills so that children make good progress and standards are raised.

Northern Lights (known as The Golden Compass in North America and some other countries) is a fantasy novel by Philip Pullman, published by Scholastic UK in 1995. Set in a parallel universe, it features the journey of Lyra Belacqua to the Arctic in search of her missing friend, Roger Parslow, and her imprisoned uncle, Lord Asriel, who has been conducting experiments with a mysterious substance known as "Dust".

Our PE days are Tuesday and Friday. Please ensure that your child's PE kit is in school on a Monday.
